About me
I'm a professional, Taiwanese-American photographer based in Houston, Texas. Although I wasn't always set on becoming a photographer, I discovered my passion for photography through capturing cityscapes, architecture, and nature as an amateur photographer.
Fast forward to 2016, a turning point in my life when I began submitting my work to international photography contests. I was lucky enough to have my work awarded in 17 different contests, including the prestigious International Photography Awards (IPA), Sony World Photography Awards (SWPA), Px3 Prix De La International Photography Awards (Px3), and many more. Around this time, I also began building my reputation as a professional photographer, starting with family, natural light portrait, and real estate photography. I soon expanded my services to include events and weddings.
As I captured those special moments, emotions, and joys, I realized that I had a deep passion for storytelling through my lens. It has been an honor to serve countless clients for their weddings, corporate events, expos, and other special moments. Preserving memories in a meaningful and authentic way has always been important to me. Despite the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, I was able to turn this into another tuning point in my photography business. During the down time, I built a home-studio to further develop my lighting skills for studio portrait and professional headshots. Now, equipped with the right skills, I'm able to offer in-studio photography services to clients who need it.
As a lover of creativity and experimentation, I have always found joy in trying new things. This passion has led me to engage in some truly exciting projects over the years, including collaborations with dancers and fashion industry leaders. As a result, I am proud to say that my work in portrait and fashion photography has been featured in numerous publications.
However, my desire to push boundaries and expand my horizons never wanes. In 2023, I have taken my services to the next level by adding product photography to my service. Thanks to my previous experiences experimenting with different lighting techniques, I am confident in my ability to capture stunning images that showcase the beauty and intricacies of each product. I am thrilled to continue exploring the world of photography and cannot wait to see where this journey takes me next.
